Valentino, Two Nights of Love, Food, Theatre, Music, and Art
AUSTIN, Texas – February 14-15, 2008 The Austin Enchanted Forest presents Valentino, two nights of love, food, theatre, music, and art. On Valentine’s night, the amazing culinary talent of Ararat combined with the sultry score and choreography of Wino Vino will create a sensual backdrop for lovers to celebrate one another along with their love of art. After dinner on Valentine’s night and throughout the evening on the following night, an art bar gallery will feature the work of more than forty artists, musicians, and performers. The two nights are sure to be a uniquely satisfying feast for all the senses. All proceeds raised will go directly to facilitate art at the 4th Annual Art Outside, March 6-16, 2008.
On Thursday, February 14, beginning at 6:30pm, doors will open for cocktails and dinner seating. At 7:00pm, an exquisite six-course dinner by Ararat Mid-East Fusion will be served. With each course, Wino Vino will grace the stage with their sensual dinner theatre performances including: “Epiphany of Love” spoken word, “Bird of Paradise” feather dance, belly dance with veils, “Divo Flamenco” dance, and “Interlocked Passion” partner balancing. Following the dinner theatre show there will be a dance party at 10:00pm that is open to all who seek to groove in love.
On Friday, February 15, starting at 5:00pm and going until 2:00am, the AEF presents Valentino’s Burning Hearts—An Anti-Valentines Show featuring work of twenty seven local artists, grooving music, performances, and other shenanigans.
This two-night event takes place at The United States Art Authority, located at 510 W. 29th Street in Austin, Texas. www.unitedstatesartauthority.com

Valentino is a benefit for Art Outside which is a community-based temporary art show created by hundreds of artists and appreciated by thousands of viewers/participants. AO provides a platform for all varieties of artists to display their work in an unconventional arena at the Austin Enchanted Forest. At its root, AO inspires new forms of creativity and experience by taking art out of the traditional gallery and bringing it into the forest.
